Small Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain Teapot “Poker”
The Small Hand-Painted Porcelain Teapot “Poker” has a low, rounded body supported by a narrow circular base. Its compact proportions distinguish it from the taller large version of the Poker teapot.
A curved white handle is positioned on one side, opposite the extended green pouring spout. The teapot is closed with a white domed lid featuring a raised loop handle.
The decoration divides the front into several playing-card sections. The visible composition includes a club card, a court-card figure, poker card suit motifs and the default initials.
Dark green covers the spout and selected areas of the body. White panels provide the background for the playing-card imagery, while red, black, blue and yellow are used for the painted details.
Gold painting follows the lid, upper edge, base and selected outlines within the composition. The teapot is handcrafted from authentic French Limoges porcelain and hand-painted in Paris, France.
The default initials can be replaced with the client’s initials. They are applied directly by hand as part of the existing card design.
A compact Limoges porcelain teapot with a rounded body, domed lid, curved handle and green pouring spout. Its exterior combines playing cards, suit symbols and gold-painted details. The teapot can be ordered with personalised initials in place of the standard initials.
THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Limoges porcelain forms the body, lid, handle and spout. Its white surface remains visible within the card panels and on the functional elements.
Gold painting is applied to the borders, lid, base and selected details, contrasting with the dark green exterior and multicoloured imagery.
EXCLUSIVITY & HERITAGE
The small teapot is hand-painted in Paris by Kristina Mkrtchyan, a porcelain decoration specialist whose professional experience includes hand-painting porcelain for Hermès.
No transfer printing is used. The playing-card imagery, poker suit symbols, gold details and personalised initials are applied directly by hand.
The G.P.Grant collection of fine porcelain masterpieces includes porcelain teapots, coffee mugs, porcelain mugs, porcelain tea cups, porcelain coffee cups and porcelain gifts.
