Dune Versatile Crystal Caviar Set and Vase – Clear or Amber
A wide footed bowl surrounds a central crystal sphere and supports a series of removable serving elements. The layered construction gives the piece a strong architectural presence while preserving the lightness of transparent crystal.
With the smaller bowls in place, Dune creates a structured presentation for caviar and other delicacies. Once they are removed, the larger vessel opens into an elegant fruit vase with a completely different visual character.
The Clear sphere maintains a fully transparent composition, while Amber introduces a warm focal point beneath the serving surface. Both versions retain the same proportions and intricate decorative treatment.
Dune may be used during formal dining, presented as a luxurious centerpiece or displayed independently as a decorative crystal object.
Different delicacies can be arranged separately within one elevated presentation. The removable construction allows the composition to be adapted according to the contents and the occasion.
THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Pure crystal containing 24% PbO allows the bevelled decoration to remain clearly defined across the overlapping bowls, foot and central sphere. Reflections pass through several separate components, creating layered depth within the assembled structure.
The Clear sphere continues the colourless movement of light, while Amber filters it through a warm central accent. Every component is individually mouth-blown, hand-cut and hand-polished before being precisely assembled.
EXCLUSIVITY & HERITAGE
Dune is conceived around transformation rather than a single fixed function. Its identity changes with the arrangement of the removable elements, allowing the same object to move between caviar service, delicacy presentation and fruit display.
Each piece is crafted in Italy by Mario Cioni and presented as part of the G.P.Grant Crystal Selection. It may bear the original Mario Cioni maker’s mark.
The combination of traditional bevelled motifs, a contrasting central sphere and multi-part construction defines the character of this Unique Edition.
