When filled, the transparent upper section reveals the ice, while the denser decoration below creates the impression of a luminous base supporting it.
 
THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Pure crystal containing 24% PbO gives the 100 cl bucket sufficient substance for its rounded mouth-blown interior and deeply engraved lower wall. The clear upper section reveals the transition from the smooth inner cavity to the textured exterior.
The internal curvature guides loose ice cubes towards the centre. On the outside, the engraved spots form tactile contact points for a secure grip while breaking surrounding light into broad, overlapping reflections.
