Luxe Footed Crystal Sphere Vases – Medium and Large Designs
The Luxe Crystal Vase collection is structured around a spherical body elevated on a sculpted foot. This combination gives the object a defined architectural presence while preserving the visual lightness of transparent crystal.
Intricate engraving covers the surface with a dense arrangement of facets. Each plane receives and redirects light differently, creating a radiant effect that changes according to the surrounding illumination.
The medium version has a balanced 32 cm profile, while the 42 cm large sphere introduces greater height and visual prominence. Both proportions retain the same rounded composition and detailed surface treatment.
Adding a lid transforms the sphere into a covered presentation piece suitable for treats and other decorative contents. Without the lid, the form reads as an open crystal vessel with a cleaner, more continuous silhouette.
Luxe may be presented as a vase, decorative object or luminous centerpiece. Its combination of transparency, scale and ornament allows it to occupy a space without appearing visually heavy.
The design belongs to the Brilliance catalogue of handcrafted crystal pieces, which also includes trays, bowls, centerpieces, tea sets and carafes.
Luxe brings together a strong spherical profile and an exceptionally detailed crystal surface. Raised on a foot, the form has a sculptural quality suited to refined residential and hospitality interiors. Its engraved exterior responds continuously to natural and artificial light, giving the object a different appearance throughout the day.
THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Pure crystal containing 24% PbO gives the spherical body the density and refractive character needed to carry the engraving through its curved volume. Light enters the object, crosses overlapping walls and reappears between the cuts rather than remaining only on the exterior.
After polishing, the individual facets gain sharper visual separation. With no added colour, the changing effect is produced solely by curvature, engraving and the movement of light within the crystal.
EXCLUSIVITY & HERITAGE
The Luxe series treats decorative cutting as the central expression of the object. The complexity of its surface depends on controlled manual work and the experience required to maintain clarity across a curved crystal form.
Each piece is crafted in Italy by Mario Cioni and presented as part of the G.P.Grant Crystal Selection. It may bear the original Mario Cioni maker’s mark.
Its value lies in the combination of identifiable Italian authorship, specialist crystalmaking and a design capable of functioning as both tableware and a collectible interior object.
