Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain White Panther Ashtray and Tray with Red Jasper and Tobacco Leaf Background
The G.P.GRANT PORTAL White Panther centres on a pale leopard emerging through the brand’s crown-and-cube emblem. Rendered in platinum tones, the hollow emblem functions as a portal rather than a superimposed logo, placing the animal in direct interaction with the visual identity of G.P.GRANT.
 
The panther advances beyond the rectangular opening with one foreleg extending across its lower edge. This crossing of the portal creates the depth and forward movement that define the collection, while the animal’s white coat, dark rosettes and red eyes form the principal focus of the composition.
 
Large green tobacco leaves surround the figure and continue across the base and inclined sides of the porcelain piece. Their natural veins and overlapping forms create a dense botanical setting without separating the central image from the surrounding decoration.
 
Behind the foliage, red jasper-inspired areas introduce deep red, cream and mineral-toned layers. Fine metallic lines connect the stone pattern with the tobacco leaves, allowing the botanical and mineral elements to read as one continuous environment.
 
The artwork is painted by hand on Limoges porcelain and accented with platinum painting along the portal, rim and selected decorative details. The cool metallic finish contrasts with the red jasper tones and vivid green leaves while echoing the pale colouring of the white panther.
 
Available as a porcelain ashtray or porcelain tray, the design can be selected in the preferred format through the Product Options. Each version retains the complete G.P.GRANT PORTAL composition and is created as a unique, signed work.

THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Limoges porcelain forms the base of the piece and carries the complete artistic composition across its interior surfaces.
The Red jasper-inspired background is interpreted through layered red, cream and darker mineral tones, while the tobacco leaves are painted in varied shades of green with individually defined natural veins.
Tobacco leaf elements introduce organic forms and natural textures within the painted artwork.
Platinum painting is used for the metallic rim, the G.P.GRANT portal and selected lines within the decoration.

The G.P.GRANT PORTAL White Panther translates the brand emblem into an active architectural element through which the central animal enters the composition.
Each piece is individually hand-decorated and finished in Paris by Kristina Mkrtchyan, a porcelain decoration specialist whose professional experience includes creating hand-painted porcelain for Hermès.
The animal, tobacco leaves, red jasper-inspired background and platinum details are applied directly by hand, and the finished piece is signed by the artist.
Created as a unique edition within the G.P.GRANT collectible porcelain collection, the work brings together Limoges porcelain craftsmanship, figurative painting and the recurring PORTAL code of animal, emblem, stone and nature.
