The Monolith Type 16 cigar ashtray explores a more compact architectural language, defined by a powerful multi-faceted octagonal form surrounding a deep circular bowl. Carved entirely from natural volcanic obsidian, the object balances sculptural mass with refined geometric precision, creating a bold visual presence from every angle.
Unlike elongated faceted compositions, the Type 16 is built around broader polygonal surfaces that produce stronger reflections and greater visual depth.
