THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Pure crystal containing 24% PbO responds strongly to deep cutting, allowing the grid of vertical and horizontal lines to produce clearly separated reflections across the compact base. Where the cuts intersect, the material divides into parallel prisms that redirect light towards the centre of the glass.
Executed entirely by skilled master engravers, the dense lower pattern creates a precise transition to the smooth, transparent bowl above.
