CIGAR TOBACCO CONSTRUCTION
Our meticulously crafted, entirely handmade cigars are built from three distinct types of tobacco leaves, each playing a vital role in construction, combustion, and flavor. Every element is carefully selected to deliver depth, aroma, and balance.
Capa (Wrapper):
The wrapper defines the cigar’s first impression — its appearance, aroma, and a decisive part of its taste. For ZAVEN, we use select wrappers including:

CIGAR AGING PROCESS AND BLENDING
The Aging Philosophy
Every leaf is subjected to a disciplined process: aged for up to twelve years before rolling, undergoing multiple fermentations, and rested in cedar chambers. From each harvest, only 1.5–2% of the crop meets our uncompromising standards — true micro-batches that guarantee balance, depth, and rarity.
The curing and subsequent aging of our tobacco are carried out using entirely natural processes, allowing the creation of intricate compounds that define the distinctive character of Zaven cigars.
We categorically refrain from adding artificial “flavors” to our premium tobacco. Instead, we rely on time and nature. Some of our cigars undergo extended post-rolling aging, while the tobacco itself is matured for up to twelve years before rolling.
All our luxury cigars are meticulously developed and blended in close collaboration with master blenders from the renowned Dominican houses of Kelner, Reyes, and Fuente. Their expertise ensures that every Zaven cigar reflects precision, harmony, and the highest standards of true cigar artistry.

G.P.Grant specializes in the design and production of cigar boxes and cigar labels. We manufacture boxes from solid wood, fine veneer, and Spanish cedar, with finishing options including lacquer, leather, metal, or glass. The range includes models for professional brands and private collections. We produce cigar labels based on custom designs or client layouts, with options for embossing, foil stamping, and multilayer printing.

Our production and quality control are carried out in close collaboration with Davtian Cigars, with every stage of rolling performed by experienced artisans in the Dominican Republic. These artisans descend from families who have preserved the traditions of cigar rolling for generations. With them they carry not only invaluable expertise but also closely guarded trade secrets, techniques refined over decades in the heart of the Dominican Republic. Many of our master craftsmen spent their lives working alongside some of the most renowned fabricas in the world before bringing their knowledge to Zaven.
