Each briar pipe is individually produced from Mediterranean briar, sourced from Erica Arborea, a material known for its resistance to heat and long-term stability. Selection is based on density, structure and absence of critical defects.

G.P.Grant applies a more controlled approach, focusing on structural integrity and final performance rather than using surface treatment to mask imperfections.
