EXCLUSIVE JEWELLERY HUMIDOR, ASHTRAY & LIGHTER SET WITH SAPPHIRES AND LAPIS LAZULI IN BLUE SYCAMORE
The central element of the exclusive humidor is crafted in the shape of an octagon. Made by jewellers from solid platinum adorned with sapphires, while other parts are inlaid with lapis lazuli. The collection includes jewellery humidors made of Spanish cedar veneered with sycamore blue, as well as a cigar ashtray and a lighter encrusted with lapis lazuli. Many hours of filigree work by craftsmen and jewellers result in a unique quality of products with an inimitable combination of materials. The line represents true sophistication and luxury, making the accessories pieces of artwork for collectors.
We have realized our goal of creating The World's Most Expensive Humidors that are 100% true to their price point, and we are confident that you will appreciate all of the above features when you hold our, and now one of your, jewellery humidors in your hands for generations to come.
This Exclusive Jewellery Humidor Set represents the highest tier of material execution within the G.P.Grant portfolio, where cabinetmaking precision and high jewellery craftsmanship are structurally integrated rather than applied as decoration.
The octagonal platinum element is not a surface accent but a load-bearing compositional core, establishing geometric authority within the overall design. The calibrated placement of sapphires and lapis lazuli creates a deliberate material hierarchy — precious and ornamental stones functioning within a controlled architectural framework.
The Blue Sycamore exterior and solid Spanish cedar interior reinforce the dual identity of the object: a fully engineered humidor for long-term cigar storage and a collectible jewellery piece conceived for generational ownership.
This configuration belongs to the Exclusive Jewellery Edition — a category reserved for compositions where noble metals and gemstone setting define the object’s structural character, not merely its visual appeal.
THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Solid Platinum 950‰ or Solid 24K Yellow Gold
Sapphires. Top-quality sapphires are rare and lie well hidden in just a few places, and first have to be brought to light through hard work. Blue come from a variety of exotic sources including Madagascar, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Australia.
Royal Blue Lapis Lazuli. Origin: Afghanistan. Lapis lazuli, the gem variety of lazurite and one of the most beautiful opaque gemstones. Known as “sapphires” by the ancients, the stone occurs in only a few major deposits around the world. The most prized lapis is a dark, nearly blackish blue, much deeper than turquoise and more intense than sodalite or azurite. Pyrite, a commonly associated mineral, is often liberally sprinkled throughout lapis specimens, to create a striking combination of rich blue and brassy gold.
Sycamore. Origin: North America. Similar to maple, the wood of Sycamore trees is predominantly comprised of the sapwood, with some darker heartwood streaks also found in most boards. The sapwood is white to light tan, while the heartwood is a darker reddish brown. Sycamore also has very distinct ray flecks present on quartersawn surfaces - giving it a freckled appearance.
Humidor Box Spanish Cedar. Origin: Central and South America. Spanish cedar is a tropical hardwood found throughout Central and South America. It is one the world’s most important timber species. Esteemed for its aromatic and attractive pink to salmon-red wood, which is resistant to rotting and insects. Has a distinct, lingering, cedar-like scent; this characteristic of the wood makes it a favorite for cigar boxes.
