THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Royal Blue Lapis Lazuli – Sourced from Afghanistan, this exquisite gemstone is a variety of lazurite, renowned as one of the world’s most beautiful opaque stones. Once known as “sapphires” by ancient civilizations, prized lapis features a rich, almost blackish blue hue—darker than turquoise, more intense than sodalite or azurite. Often flecked with sparkling pyrite, it combines deep blue with golden tones for an arresting visual contrast.
Sycamore Wood – Originating from North America, sycamore wood is highly valued for its light color and unique freckled appearance. Similar to maple, it primarily consists of sapwood, often with darker heartwood streaks. The sapwood ranges from white to light tan, while the heartwood deepens to a rich reddish-brown. The distinctive ray flecks visible on quartersawn surfaces lend a unique character to this wood.
Spanish Cedar Humidor Box – Sourced from Central and South America, Spanish cedar is an essential material in fine humidors.
