Black Panther Ashtray or Tray — Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain with Marble-Inspired Background
The G.P.GRANT PORTAL Black Panther builds its composition around the contrast between the animal’s dark silhouette and the architectural geometry of the brand’s crown-and-cube emblem. The cube forms the portal at the centre of the artwork, while the black panther extends beyond its boundary and into the foreground.
Rather than appearing as an isolated animal motif, the black panther becomes physically connected to the portal. Its body occupies and crosses the geometric frame, giving the composition depth while maintaining the animal as its dominant visual element.
The surrounding artwork interprets black marble through a network of dark mineral structures, pale veining and gold-toned passages. Tobacco leaf elements emerge within this marble-inspired environment, introducing an organic form that contrasts with both the mineral pattern and the precise geometry of the portal.
Created on Limoges porcelain, the composition combines artistic decoration with hand-painted elements and gold accents. The warm metallic elements trace selected areas of the portal, border and surrounding artwork, creating a deliberate contrast against the predominantly black palette.
Available as a porcelain ashtray or porcelain tray, the design can be selected in either format through the Product Options. The Black Panther composition remains the defining artwork of both versions.

THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
Limoges porcelain forms the foundation of the piece and carries the artistic decoration across the interior surface.
The black marble-inspired background is interpreted through deep black tonal fields, contrasting veins and gold-toned mineral patterns that establish the dark character of the composition.
Tobacco leaf elements introduce sculptural botanical forms into the mineral-inspired setting, their visible veins and contours creating an organic counterpoint to the marble pattern.
Gold painting appear across selected elements of the artwork and portal, adding warm metallic contrast to the black composition.
