Custom Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain Vase – Choose Shape & Design
The Custom Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain Vase is commissioned as an individual decorative artwork rather than produced with one fixed surface design. Three vase forms are available, allowing the proportions of the porcelain body to be selected independently from the painted composition.
The Large Classic Vase has a broad rounded body, raised shoulders and a short neck, providing an expansive surface for detailed court-card figures and continuous decoration. The Tall Oval Vase offers a more elongated profile, while the Wide Oval Vase introduces a lower form with flattened sides and a generous frontal area.
The Poker artwork shown in the photographs combines kings, queens, jacks, playing cards and poker card suit motifs with richly coloured ornamental detailing. These completed examples demonstrate the level and style of hand-painting available; they do not restrict the client to one predetermined image.
A personalised composition may instead be developed around selected playing cards, initials, names, dates, logos, commemorative inscriptions, custom portraiture or another individual subject. The artwork is adapted to the shape of the chosen vase so that the design follows its front, sides and curved exterior.
Gold painting is integrated into selected outlines, borders and decorative elements. Against coloured backgrounds, the metallic detail gives definition to the painted imagery while remaining part of the complete composition rather than appearing as a separate applied ornament.
Each hand-painted porcelain vase is created from French Limoges porcelain and fired at high temperature. The smooth porcelain surface supports detailed brushwork, precise facial features and clearly defined decorative motifs. No transfer printing is used; the visible decoration is applied directly by hand.
Created for private interiors, collectors and personal gifting, the vase may be commissioned as a porcelain anniversary gift, a bespoke porcelain gift for him or an individual decorative object carrying personal significance. Clients looking to buy porcelain online can select the vase shape and describe the required artwork through the personalisation field.
Choose between three Limoges porcelain vase shapes and commission either the illustrated Poker composition or entirely personalised artwork. The photographs show previous hand-painted designs and serve as examples of the available decorative approach. Your selected playing card, portrait, initials, name, date, logo or inscription can be incorporated directly into the composition. Each piece is individually painted without transfer printing and may vary naturally as a result of the handmade process. Available through the G.P.Grant porcelain online store for clients seeking personalised porcelain gifts, collectible porcelain masterpieces and bespoke decorative vases.
THE ARTISTRY OF MATERIALS
French Limoges porcelain provides a smooth, pale and luminous foundation for detailed hand-painting. Its refined surface allows colours, facial details, lettering and ornamental lines to remain clearly defined across both broad and curved areas of the vase.
Gold painting introduces a warm metallic element within the decoration. Applied directly alongside the coloured pigments, it emphasises selected contours and details while preserving the visual continuity of the hand-painted composition.
EXCLUSIVITY & HERITAGE
Every porcelain creation presented within the G.P.Grant Selection is chosen for authentic craftsmanship, artistic individuality and the possibility of meaningful personalisation. Each commissioned vase is developed as an individual decorative work, with its shape and painted composition selected for the client.
The Limoges porcelain vases are hand-painted in Paris by Kristina Mkrtchyan, a specialist in porcelain decoration whose professional experience includes hand-painting porcelain for Hermès. No transfer printing is used, and differences in brushwork and decorative details preserve the individual character of every piece.
